Our acoustic interpretation products enable you to calculate minimum and maximum principal stresses and stress field orientation. This is achieved by combining oriented slowness data with overburden and pore-pressure data. Compressional and shear data can be used to evaluate near-wellbore vs. far wellbore stress effects. Additionally, we can estimate formation damage near the wellbore, detect the presence of shear anisotropy, and the presence of fractures.
