Identifies and characterizes leaks and flow around the wellbore and behind pipe
Talk to an expertIntelliScope™ leak and flow diagnostic service is an acoustic analysis tool that uses hydrophone array technology to detect leaks in real-time and maps flow behind pipe. With individual hydrophone automatic gain technology, it identifies low- and high-level leaks in a single continuous pass. The advanced signal processing techniques ensure clear visualization of the leak source and flow path.
The service provides vertical and radial location data, acoustic magnitude, and a frequency map in real-time so remediation decisions can be made during the acquisition pass.
extended frequency range for flow characterization
precision military grade cylindrical hydrophones
Inches maximum outer diameter
Feet per minute recommended maximum logging speed
Case Study: IntelliScope™ leak and flow diagnostic service
The IntelliScope service identified a leak in the production hanger casing, saving Caelus Energy Alaska a costly workover operation.
READ THE CASE STUDYThe IntelliScope leak and flow diagnostic service quickly identifies areas with possible leaks in the completion. The array of eight hydrophones enables roadnoise and flow-induced-noise to be removed without the need to filter the leak signal. Continuous beamforming delivers precision leak source location and identifies the tubular or completion component that requires remediation.
Extended high-sample rate data is captured from each hydrophone and is integrated for flow mapping analysis and presented in a 2D image that maps the flow path in the well. Advanced signal processing includes phase estimation and fluid velocities.
This technology was designed to be part of a full suite of diagnostic logging services. It can be combined with other Intelli portfolio services to remove uncertainty and make data-driven decisions.
Accurate production profiling information for critical well decisions.
Accurately pinpoint casing defects and metal corrosion in up to seven tubular strings throughout the well.
Monitor reservoirs to increase production, improve recovery, and find bypassed pay.
