The CleanWell® Inflow Tech® test packer is designed to perform isolated negative or positive inflow tests on downhole liner tops. The tool has top and bottom connections and can be run in conjunction with other wellbore cleaning tools promoting “single-trip” displacement runs.
The Inflow Tech test packer is equipped to promote quick trip speeds with generous bypass area under the packer element. Rather than loading the liner top during the inflow test, the slip system eliminates the potential for liner-top damage due to excessive compressional forces and helps manage critical spaceout issues. These proven components can be used during drilling operations, or more traditionally, during the displacement process.

A major operator challenged Halliburton to design and execute a single-trip solution to set an EZ Drill® SVB packer and to also
perform a negative test from 13 ppg to 9 ppg of mud equivalent with the CleanWell® Inflow Tech® test packer. Additionally,
Halliburton would need to install a wear bushing insert while running the operation in hole. When pulling out of the hole, the
wear bushing insert would need to be removed and the setting area jetted. Performing these three applications in one run would
be a challenge, but the result would save the customer costly rig time.
Utilizing CleanWell® technology with additional features for high-pressure, high-temperature (HP/HT) environments, Halliburton was able to save the operator 18 hours of rig time with zero safety incidents or NPT raised.
