Halad®-567 Fluid Loss Additive

Made from synthetic polymer technology and available as a powder or a 20% solution (Halad-567L additive)

Both the powder and liquid forms of Halad-567 additive can be used with calcium chloride (CaCl2), seawater, and high concentrations of salt. This additive helps control fluid loss at temperatures up to 350°F (177°C), yet it does not overretard cement at temperatures as low as 80°F (27°C). Because Halad-567 additive is not a strong dispersant or cement viscosifier, it can be used in normal and heavyweight cement slurries.

Halad-567 additive can provide the following benefits:

  • Help reduce horsepower requirements by controlling fluid viscosities and circulating pressures. This additive can also help maintain slurry density.
  • Help control gas migration and improve squeeze cementing results.
  • Help protect water sensitive formations.
  • Help improve the cement/casing bond.
