The DataSphere® Opsis™ permanent downhole gauge is a robust and reliable device that provides highly accurate real-time data on downhole conditions, so you can make more informed decisions and ultimately increase production for the life of the well. The Opsis gauge can be used in unconventional, deepwater, and mature-field applications, as well as in single-zone, multi-zone, production, injector, and observation wells.
An evolution in monitoring technology
The Opsis gauge represents the next generation of permanent downhole gauges, with greater reliability in HP/HT environments. Part of the DataSphere® permanent monitoring suite, the quartz-based gauge features advanced application-specific integrated chip (ASIC) technology and the dual metal-to-metal, pressure-testable connections that have proven so reliable for the ROC™ family of gauges. The ASIC technology is rated up to 200°C (392°F) while the gauge itself has demonstrated reliability for up to 10 years at 185°C (365°F).
