Vigilant™ High-Temperature Downhole Gauge

Real-time monitoring in high-temperature conditions for better operating efficiency

The Vigilant™ high-temperature 351°F (177°C) downhole gauge assists in monitoring well drawdown rates, gas fraction increases, gas lock, scaling, and asphaltene buildup. Combining a downhole gauge and surface monitoring unit, the Vigilant gauge provides critical insight into downhole operating conditions in severe service wells. The gauge attaches to the bottom of the downhole motor, and adaptors enable connection with many different electric submersible pump (ESP) motors.

Highly reliable, maintenance-free collection of real-time pump and motor conditions

The Vigilant gauge circuitry and transducer are sealed at the factory. The gauge records motor winding temperature up to 600°F (316°C) using a resistance temperature detector (RTD).

Instant communication with surface unit, variable speed drive, and remote surveillance

The Vigilant gauge transmits downhole data to the surface monitoring system, which displays data in appropriate engineering units for pressure, temperature, and vibration. Continuous monitoring is available through integration with variable speed drives and remote well surveillance systems.
