The Halliburton EquiStar™ Tubing Retrievable Safety Valve (TRSV) is a tubing pressure insensitive, non-equalizing, flapper-type safety valve
Talk to an expertThe Halliburton EquiStar® Tubing-Retrievable Safety Valve (TRSV) is a
tubing-pressure-insensitive, non-equalizing, flapper-type safety valve that is designed to shut in a well at a point below the surface. This valve requires two control lines. One control line admits control pressure to the piston, and the second control line provides a balanced hydrostatic pressure so that the main power spring does not have to overcome the hydrostatic pressure of the control-line fluid to actuate the surface-controlled subsurface safety valve (SCSSV) to the closed position.
