The Marine Sentry RCD 3000™ is the latest offshore rotating control device that provides safe and efficient containment and diversion of fluids throughout the well construction process. It can be used during a wide range of drilling operations — conventional, managed pressure, underbalanced, and mud cap — as well as casing and cementing operations.
Innovative design makes element changes easy and predictive
The unique remote bearing latch system improves element and bearing changes. The entire bearing assembly can be released and hoisted to the rig floor using the drill pipe. At the rig floor the bearing can be serviced and the elements can be changed. Also available is a dual element configuration that can be deployed through the rotary table.
The Marine Sentry RCD also features real-time wireless monitoring of pressures, temperature, vibration and RPM, giving you predictive indicators of element changes.
The Halliburton Marine Sentry RCD 3000 is certified to the latest CE, ATEX, NORSOK, DNV, and IECEX standards, and is rated to 3,000 psi static and 2,000 psi dynamic working pressure.
