Industry trends suggest that oil and gas companies continue to add more complex plays to their asset portfolios, as most of the simple oil traps have been discovered. This talk offers an example of interpretation, structural modelling and mapping with reverse faults using DecisionSpace® Geosciences software. It utilizes the Qualified Quotient Space (QQS) technology to create structural frameworks with multi-Z surfaces. Furthermore, we will show how those structural frameworks can be used to build complex velocity models with multi-Z particularities.
