Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is the process of capturing Carbon dioxide (CO₂) formed during power generation and industrial processes and storing it to prevent its emission into the atmosphere. CCS technologies have significant potential to reduce CO₂ emissions in energy systems.
Efficient and effective CCS is highly dependent on accurate petrophysical property modeling. However, current petrophysical property modeling techniques can be very subjective, time consuming and unsystematic.
In this webinar, we showcase a machine learning-based approach for petrophysical property modeling that uses seismic and well log data to build an intelligent model. Once developed, this model can be used to accurately predict the petrophysical properties of the entire seismic volume.
