In response to the evolving demands of deep and ultra-deepwater projects, particularly in the Gulf of Mexico Lower Tertiary region, operators require a robust single-trip multizone system. Halliburton developed the Xtreme Single-Trip Multizone (XSTMZ™) system to complete wells in extreme conditions. This system has a 15,000 psi pressure rating—an upgrade from the highly successful Enhanced Single-Trip Multizone (ESTMZ™) system. 

The XSTMZ system’s enhanced pressure handling capabilities allow it to tackle higher screenout pressures, making it suitable for deeper wells and those demanding higher pump rates. Moreover, it introduces the ability to create zonal compartments, optimizing stimulation for long-pay zones with significant differential pressures.
