Summer marks an exciting time at Halliburton as we welcome a new class of interns to the organization. Top students from U.S. universities fill intern positions in the office and the oilfield and deliver results that make an impact.

Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice.” Through campus visits, info sessions, and an interview process, the Halliburton recruiting team identifies students who we hope to hire full-time after a successful internship and graduation. With a focus on professional development, the Halliburton intern program provides students the opportunity to network, learn about the energy industry, and develop the cutting-edge skills they need to become leaders.

As we prepare for our Summer 2022 interns, we reflect on the incredible group of students who joined us last summer. Thank you to 86 talented individuals from 16 universities who made things happen at Halliburton!

Recently, we had several summer interns join Halliburton full-time. Let us introduce you to two of them:

  • Carol Ann Rockley: Global Mobility and Relocation Intern turned Recruiting Specialist

“I chose to join the Big Red Family because of everyone I met and worked with during my summer internship. Halliburton values collaboration, respect, safety, continuous improvement, and so much more. Halliburton cares about my professional and personal career growth and it was immediately apparent when they gave me the opportunity to share where I wanted to start my full-time career.”

  • Tejinder Ahluwalia: Corporate Audit Intern turned Staff Auditor

“The people I met throughout the length of my internship were the main reason I came back. The overall culture – from operations in the field to support services (like Finance) – was one of the best work environments I've experienced. The employees were always willing to help me understand new concepts or sections within the business. I will continue to build on these relationships and carry it over to those that get the same opportunity to intern with Halliburton.”
