Halliburton joins one of the largest Pride celebrations in the U.S.
On June 25, 2022, Houston hosted the third-largest Pride celebration in the United States. Despite triple-digit temperatures, Halliburton employees and their family and friends assembled to walk in the parade. Thousands of Pride-goers lined the city blocks of downtown Houston to cheer the procession.
While many had attended in the past, this year Halliburton secured a spot in the parade and employees participated together for the first time. When asked what it meant to be there with Halliburton, Ruben Molero, supply chain manager and board member of the Halliburton LGBTQ+ employee resource group, said, “I think it’s fantastic because it empowers us all to be our true selves. We can share that personal side of our lives with the company.”
