In this webinar, we will analyze the Advanced Production Excellence (APEX) project and how it utilizes data analytics and optimization algorithms for enhanced asset production, operational efficiency, and cost reduction. The APEX project is one of the key digital transformation projects by PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) and it leverages a module-based approach to target and fix key production challenges.  

For instance, the Sand Prediction, Control and Monitoring (SPCM) module estimates real-time sand production and helps in minimizing losses and costs. The Condensate Stabilizer Optimization (CSO) module helps maximize production and stable operation. The Flow Assurance (FA) module worked to enable safe and efficient pipeline operations by monitoring and providing recommendations. 

The project’s success stems from a close-knit collaboration between PTTEP, Halliburton Landmark and Honeywell. The CSO was first deployed in three gas fields in the Gulf of Thailand, followed by subsequent modules and comprehensive data integration.
