Every internship begins with a decision: where to gain experience, build skills, and take a meaningful step toward a future career.
For these interns, that journey led to Halliburton.
As we celebrate National Intern Day, we highlight students who chose to spend their summer at Halliburton to learn, contribute to meaningful work, and develop professionally. For some, this was their first internship with the company. For others, it was an opportunity to build on a previous internship that left a lasting impression.
For returning interns, the experience offered more than a summer internship. It provided a chance to build new skills, strengthen relationships, and take on new challenges.
"Last summer I had an amazing experience with my project and the people I got to work with that I could not wait to return."
As an R&D Engineering intern with Production Solutions at the Duncan Technology Center, Kasey returned to build on the experience that helped shape his career goals. This summer, he gained greater project ownership and a deeper understanding of what a future full-time career at Halliburton could look like.
"The people who pushed me to learn every day are what made me want to come back, along with the amount of growth I saw in myself throughout the internship."
As a Field Engineer intern with Production Enhancement in Odessa, Texas, Jack returned after a strong first experience to broaden his field experience and take on new challenges. This summer, he gained experience in production and completion operations while working closely with management, engineers, and field personnel on a technology-focused project.
"My first summer gave me a real appreciation for the kinds of challenges Halliburton solves. I left with work I wanted to build on rather than wrap up, and the mentorship and caliber of the team made the decision to come back easy."
As a Data Science intern with Halliburton Landmark in Houston, Eloghosa returned to contribute to projects at the intersection of machine learning and energy systems. This summer, he led a project from design through results and gained experience turning technical concepts into meaningful outcomes.
While every experience is unique, these interns share a common theme: the opportunity to learn, contribute to key projects, and build relationships that encouraged them to return.
On National Intern Day, Halliburton recognizes the contributions of its interns and the value they bring throughout the organization. Their achievements already make a difference, and their future holds great promise.
