Held on October 2, at the Clubs of Kingwood in Kingwood, Texas, this year’s tournament featured 28 nonprofit organizations onsite. These organizations gathered to network with tournament participants, connect with other charities, and showcase their missions.

For over three decades, it has been an honor for our foundation to contribute to the incredible work of so many charitable organizations. We appreciate the support from our sponsors, whose generosity makes the Halliburton Charity Golf Tournament possible. This event holds great significance, because it delivers tangible benefits to individuals and families. What began as a small initiative has expanded to support 250 charities, and it’s remarkable to witness the meaningful impact this tournament makes across communities nationwide

Focus on key impact areas

The Halliburton Charitable Foundation supports non-profit organizations in four areas: education, health and safety, environment, and social services. Here is a sample of the charities selected in 2024.

Education: empowering the future

The Duncan Literacy Council in Duncan, Oklahoma focuses on the improvement of adult literacy through free tutoring in reading, writing, and basic math skills. The financial support from the tournament allows the Council to expand its programs and reach more adult learners to help them succeed both personally and professionally.

Health and safety: caring for communities

Sharing Hands A Respite Experience (SHARE) offers support to families who care for individuals with special needs. The tournament's contributions enable SHARE to broaden its respite programs, which deliver essential relief to caregivers and improve the well-being of those under their supervision.

Environment: protecting natural resources

The Coastal Prairie Conservancy is dedicated to the protection of coastal prairies, wetlands, and ranches in southeast Texas. With funds from the event, the Conservancy will help restore thousands of acres of native prairie land. This support ensures that critical habitats are maintained for wildlife and acts as a natural flood buffer for the region.

Social services: strengthening communities

The Wounded Heroes Fund supports veterans and their families as they transition to civilian life. The organization provides essential services such as job training, mental health support, and financial assistance. The Halliburton Charity Golf Tournament support will allow the Wounded Heroes Fund to expand its services to ensure veterans receive the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

Look ahead: a commitment to community support

Year after year, the Halliburton Charity Golf Tournament is a testament to the dedication Halliburton shows to our communities. What started as a small initiative has evolved into a force for good for individuals and families across the nation. With every dollar raised, every nonprofit supported, and every life changed, Halliburton reaffirms its focus on the betterment of the communities where we live and work.
