The Halliburton FS2 isolation barrier valve offers dependable intervention-less fluid loss control during well completion operations. It isolates the formation below the uppermost gravel-pack packer, holding pressure from above and below, for complete formation isolation.

We design the FS2 valve for sand control frac-pack, gravel-pack, and standalone screen applications as well as intelligent and standard completions. Its high-performance ball mechanism provides a positive testable bi-directional seal and reliable operation in challenging environments.

Performance in harsh environments 

The FS2 fluid loss isolation barrier valve features a high-performance ball mechanism that provides a positive bi-directional wellbore barrier. The debris-tolerant, non-translating ball design eliminates unnecessary movement within the mechanism during opening and closing operations, allowing operation in debris-laden environments. 

Extensive qualification testing 

Each FS2 valve is subjected to extensive qualification testing in accordance with ISO 28781/API 19V type CC requirements with API 19V monogramming available. Prior to delivery, every valve undergoes rigorous Factory Acceptance Testing to help ensure reliable performance in all well conditions.
