The HCS AdvantageOne™ offshore cementing system is the next generation of cementing and well-control pump performance for ultra-deep water. This unit has an integrated liquid additive system with dynamic inventory management to promote accuracy of slurry blending during cementing operations. Furthering the reliability features, this system offers unit diagnostics and predictive maintenance data with system checks and an alarm system to preempt equipment-related non-productive time. Importantly, this unit is designed for remote operations to enhance safety by placing operations personnel off-unit in a separated control room or in the drilling room. Halliburton personnel are trained on actual offshore cementing equipment in Halliburton’s deepwater boot camps and any one of five training centers in Reforma, Mexico; Batam, Indonesia; Macaé, Brazil; Houma, Louisiana, and Duncan, Oklahoma. The curriculum includes remote-operation training on the highly-technical equipment required for the challenges of the deep-water environment: Automatic Density Control® (ADC®) and Liquid Additive Automated Metering and Pumping unit and the Programmable Logic Controller for the ADC and the Liquid Additive Automated Metering and Pumping unit.
