Halliburton Sperry Drilling’s WellSpot systems deliver ranging measurements when the wellbore is inaccessible. WellSpot at-bit ranging is able to gather critical information in the following situations:

Unlike conventional surveying techniques, the no-access ranging techniques from Sperry Drilling provide a discrete ranging measurement that establishes the relative separation and orientation of two wellbores. With no cumulative surveying error, tight proximities or physical intersections are routinely achieved – a feat that cannot be reliably replicated with conventional surveying methods.
