Improved cleaning time: 4 days to 12 hours

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • Equipment had been already cleaned with High Pressure Water Jetting, but Eddy Current test was not possible.
  • After Ultrasonic System, equipment cleaned to 100% cleanliness and Eddy Current test completed successfully.

Plate Heat Exchanger

Improved cleaning time: Not possible to 3 hours

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • Equipment cleaned prior withh no success.
  • Equipment required needed to be claned from LRA and other contaminations.
  • Halliburton cleaned with Ultrasonic Bath and flushed it with water flushing out the contaminants.
  • Cleaned to brand new condition with no trace of LRA.

Liners for Hydrocyclone

Improved cleaning time : 16days to 4 hours

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • Equipment was jet-washed cleaned prior placement in the Ultrasonic Bath.
  • Fully cleaned with UB System inside (scales removed) and outside down to the metal. Customer confirm 1st time receiving 100% clean liners.

Freshwater condenser

Improved cleaning time: 6 weeks to 3 days

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • Equipment tubes completely plugged with sea salt.
  • Normally take 5-6 weeks to drill the 400 tubes though (tubes are damaged in the process).
  • UB washed in 5 days, with no mechanical damage to the tubes.

Drill Bits

Improved cleaning time: 6 hours (plus 2 hours per item) to 6 hours in total

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • Difficult equipment to clean with HPWJ and further SandBlast for re-paint. HPWJ and SandBlasting dangerous, damaging metal surface, hard to clean out the small parts and surfaces.
  • Cleaned in the UB in 3 hr (all rust and polymer removed to the metal surface).

Hydraulic Fittings

Improved cleaning time: normally disposable to 2 hours

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • These fittings are considered disposable items though cost $25 each.
  • Cleaned in 2 hrs with Ultrasonic Cleaning System and re-used.

Drill Pipes

Improved cleaning time: 6 hours to 2 hours

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • Corroded and full of rust drill pipes.
  • Cleaned in UB - free from rust and can be re-used.

Heat Exchanger

Improved cleaning time: 3 days to 12 hours

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • Equipment required to be clean for IRIS inspections.
  • Cleaned by HPWJ but was not suitable for IRIS.
  • Halliburton cleaned in the UB and IRIS inspection was completed.

Heat Exchanger

Improved cleaning time: 5 days to 2 hours

Advantages of using Ultrasonic Cleaning System:

  • Heat exchanger was placed in the UB for cleaning. After 2 hrs Heat exchanger was pulled out from the bath for the inspection.
  • Heat exchanger was cleaned around 80% and visual inspection showed mechanical damage, which was hiding behind contaminations and debris.
  • Client decided to stop cleaning and scrap equipment.
