Downhole Permanent Monitoring (DHPM) is a critical element of the overall Measurement Monitoring and Verification (MMV) strategy enabling real-time decision-making, which is essential for ensuring safety and efficiency during carbon sequestration. With DHPM, you can have eyes downhole, allowing you to make informed decisions based on accurate and reliable data.

Halliburton offers a wide range of highly accurate and configurable downhole sensors that have undergone stringent industry testing. With DataSphere LinX, we can provide options to monitor activity behind the casing thus providing safe, efficient and reliable CO2 injection and storage. Our 4th generation quartz gauge, Opsis, is AWES certified and provides precise measurements, ensuring all regulatory conditions are met in the CCUS environment. Our mandrels are fully customizable, machined from a single billet with no welded connections, and can be made from a range of metallurgy and thread connections. They can house multiple gauges, providing full redundancy. Additionally, the DataSphere® Array is capable of providing multi-point pressure and temperature monitoring across various zones of interest in the wellbore. Such technology becomes very advantageous in CCUS reservoirs when surrounding zonal connectivity and CO2 migration pattern is of essence.

Through our Pinnacle, Halliburton advances in fiber optics single and distributed temperature, acoustic and quazi distributed pressure sensing measurements. With distributed fiber optic sensing, measurements can be taken along the entire fiber line. Applications of Fiber Optics conveyed on one cable may enable our customers significant savings on well interventions and improve OPEX during life of the well.
