Material selection is a critical aspect of engineering design related to CCUS, where the selected materials must withstand harsh well environment and conditions to ensure safe and permanent storage of sequestered carbon. Our state-of-the-art testing facilities offers a comprehensive selection of advanced equipment, ranging from sophisticated physical and analytical property testing tools to advanced fluid aging and sealing performance testing equipment. This wide range of cutting-edge equipment enables us to conduct an extensive array of tests with high precision and accuracy, ensuring that we can deliver the most reliable and trustworthy results to our clients.

With the ability to test materials for tensile strength up to 1000 KN, impact resistance up to 450 Joules, and hardness testing for both metals and non-metals, our facilities provide both precision and accuracy. We can also test non-metals at temperatures as low as -100°C and as high as 250°C, while for metals, we can test from ambient temperature to 250°C.

Our tests of analytical properties includes material identification and composition analysis, as well as glass transition temperature measurements and evaluation of dynamic attributes. We also offer fluid aging testing, including CO2 exposure test cells for liquid, gas and supercritical CO2, with a temperature range of ambient to 200°C and pressure capabilities of up to 5000 psi. Lastly, our sealing performance test fixture is designed to conduct tests of sealing capabilities under demanding conditions, with the ability to test pressures up to 40,000 psi and temperatures ranging from -100°C to 250°C
