Surface Control and Monitoring Systems

Halliburton Digital Infrastructure surface control and monitoring system enables operators to monitor permanent downhole gauges (PDGs) and control downhole interval control valves (ICVs) from surface. Consisting of both electrical and hydraulic systems, Digital Infrastructure also enables operators to remotely configure ICVs, expand deployed systems, and interpret and model data acquired by the system.

The Digital Infrastructure system consists of the SmartWell Master™ supervisory application, as well as surface hydraulic systems, standalone monitoring systems, subsea interface cards, and components provided by third-parties.

Land and Platform Control Systems
The Surface Hydraulic System (SHS) supplies pressurized hydraulic fluid to downhole interval control valves (ICVs) located in the well. It also retrieves pressure and temperature data from permanent downhole gauges (PDGs).
SCADA and Software Applications
The SmartWell Master™ software application is the supervisory application for Digital Infrastructure system. Designed to provide a central point of control, the SmartWell Master application integrates field control system peer connectivity with the engineer's computer control and data acquisition activities.
Portable Control Systems and Ancillary Equipment
The Digital Infrastructure system includes portable manual hydraulic units, portable data acquisition units, SHS simulators, PDG simulators and downhole cable simulators
Standalone Permanent Monitoring Systems
The XPIO 2000™ data acquisition and control system allows operators to monitor and control downhole gauges and topside instrumentation.
Subsea Control and Monitoring Systems
Halliburton offers a range of subsea interface cards that enable operators to monitor PDGs and to control Halliburton's Surface Controlled Reservoir Analysis and Management System (SCRAMS®) completions
