Some have noted that the most important event in the life of a well is a well test. As wells are increasingly complex and we continue to access oil reserves as efficiently as possible, subsea safety systems are critical to maintaining the highest level of safety for personnel and equipment during well-testing operations.

Halliburton offers a 3" ID 15,000 psi subsea safety system suited for harsh deepwater environments. Since Halliburton re-entered the subsea market in 2010, our Veto™ 3" direct hydraulic system has been used in each of the global deepwater basins, and is a solid performer in the industry.

More recently we released our Dash® 3" Electrohydraulic Subsea Safety System which delivers best-in-the-industry shut-in and unlatch times, as well as critical well data from the seabed for critical well-testing operations, ensuring safety of personnel, the environment and equipment. The Dash system also integrates with the acoustic RezConnect® Well Testing System providing a seamless solution for well testing applications.
