The quest to measure true formation resistivity (Rt) has challenged petrophysicts for decades. Our portfolio of array resistivity logging services takes the guesswork out of your interpretations. They provide a value of Rt that is closer than ever to the true Rt of the formation. Array resistivity tools offer answers at multiple depths of investigation, removing undesired effects and aiding in understanding, visualizing, and even quantifying the invasion process. 

A technology for every environment

We offer two complementary array type technologies: induction and laterolog. Array induction tools are very accurate when formation resistivity is medium to low, and borehole salinity is not too high. Array laterolog tools are more accurate in conditions where accuracy of the array induction tool starts to degrade. We offer multiple services to cover both technology types with varying environmental specifications. Temperatures up to 500°F and hydrostatic pressures up to 30,000 psi aren’t limiting factors for our portfolio.

Our Array Laterolog Tool provides a reliable resistivity profile in conductive borehole fluids using five borehole-corrected resistivity curves at increasing depths of invasion. The service enables the visualization of invasion and the measurement of true formation resistivity (Rt).
