The 1410 cubic foot pneumatic field storage trailer was designed and developed as a means of providing on-the-job storage and handling of materials.
The unit consists of three pneumatic storage tanks and a pneumatic surge tank with a total storage capacity of 1,410 cubic feet. Each of the four tanks is an American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) coded vessel and is rated at 39.5 psig working pressure. The unit overall is 8 feet wide, 13 feet, 5 inches high and is 37 feet, 4 inches long.
Each unit is equipped with a gross aeration system for unloading stored materials. Gross aeration is a method of conditioning materials stored in the tanks with air so that a fluid mixture or solution of air and dry materials results.
