Physicochemical synergies

NeoCem cement’s unique properties derive from recently discovered physicochemical synergies of specialized materials when combined with Portland cement. Although higher density cement systems typically yield more compressive strength, NeoCem cement outperformed conventional slurries of equal or greater density in several comparative tests, yielding:

  • 35% more compressive strength
  • 32% improvement in the ratio of compressive strength over Young’s modulus
  • 120% more toughness

Since its introduction in 2016, NeoCem cement has proven its performance with more than 1.5 million barrels placed downhole in more than 3,600 jobs for over 100 customers globally.
