LANDMARK AND BENGAL DEVELOPMENT SIGN WORLDWIDE RESELLER AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT

Landmark adds AFE Management and Resource Planning to its software portfolio

HOUSTON – Landmark, a brand of the Halliburton (NYSE: HAL)  Digital and Consulting Solutions Division, and Bengal Development, a division of Epoch Well Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nabors Industries (AMEX: NBR), have signed an agreement naming Landmark the principal sales channel for Bengal Development’s AFE Management System and Rig Scheduler products.  The agreement, effective immediately, builds on each company’s long history of delivering leading technical and data management solutions to the well operations market worldwide.  The agreement positions Landmark as the preferred reseller for Bengal Development and establishes the basis for deploying the Bengal Development applications on Landmark’s Engineers Data Model™ (EDM) Infrastructure.

As oil companies continue to search for ways to reduce costs and maximize the use of technology, they are demanding more from their software vendors. One such demand is the push for integrated products and services, which will streamline management of well operations lifecycles.  This agreement better positions Landmark and Bengal to serve the integration needs of the oil industry.

“To deliver on the vision of a comprehensive well operations data and process management infrastructure, we are continually seeking companies that share a common view of the evolving needs of the industry and can bring critical application offerings that meet our clients’ needs,” said David Field, director of Landmark’s Drilling and Completions technical business line.  “With this agreement, we hope to build on the success of Landmark’s Engineers Data Model and broaden the scope of the technical solutions we bring to the market.”

“Landmark and Bengal Development have complementary solutions that bring immense value to the Exploration and Production industry when combined,” said Chris Papouras, president of Epoch Well Services.  “Working together to address the growing needs of energy companies, we offer solutions that leverage the power of Landmark’s integration platform and the business application skills of Bengal Development; and as a result, we will help customers boost productivity and keep exploration costs down.  With this new relationship, customers can expect even stronger synergies in our technologies and services as their needs continue to grow.”
