Halliburton’s $4 billion Supply Chain Management organization is the largest support organization in Halliburton. The group is responsible for $3 billion in manufacturing shipments, operates in more than 40 locations around the globe and is in charge of one million logistical moves of our raw materials annually. Halliburton and our customers rely on the group’s products and services to maintain its position as a leading global supplier to upstream oil and gas customers worldwide.
As part of the Supply Chain organization, you’ll be tasked with an array of responsibilities concerning the movement and storage of all of Halliburton’s raw materials and finished goods and services, from initial sourcing all the way through to end-user delivery.
Depending on your area of interest, you will be assigned to Supply Chain’s Procurement, Materials and Logistics group or to its Manufacturing group. These groups work hard to:
- Leverage Halliburton’s global network to deliver cost-effective, value-added services and materials to operations around the world
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships that bring long-term value to Halliburton’s internal and external customers
- Help ensure Halliburton delivers the lowest total cost of acquisition of materials, equipment and service across the Company
- Facilitate and implement global sourcing activities
- Plan and execute improvement actions with users and suppliers
- Recognize opportunities to continually improve the processes in order to meet or exceed production schedules.
