Not just any accounting job...
Halliburton accountant or auditor
The accountants and auditors in Halliburton’s Finance group handle a broad range of business and financial issues that enable our internal clients to make critical business decisions.
What you’ll do
As an accountant or an auditor, you will likely begin your career in one of four Finance groups: Internal Audit, Accounting, Tax Accounting or Treasury.
Our accountants are tasked with providing the meaningful, timely and accurate operational results and forecasts that facilitate management decisions and meet statutory reporting requirements. You’ll also provide accounting services and financial advice to Halliburton’s business units and product service lines around the globe.
If you start out as an auditor, you’ll evaluate internal controls, document processes, evaluate potential control gaps and assess locations to determine what financial, operational or strategic risks may exist that may prevent management from reaching its objectives. You’ll also develop recommendations to assist management in mitigating identified risks.
Who we want
We’re looking for men and women who are interested in doing more than just crunching numbers. We are looking for individuals with strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills who are able to act as trusted business and financial advisors. You should hold a business, finance/accounting or related degree.
