Landmark’s AFE Management System is a corporate-wide solution for all your AFE needs, such as AFE creation, setup, electronic routing, online approvals, daily tracking and cost analysis. The system can be configured to your company’s requirements, including AFE work types and chart of accounts, economic indicators, reporting and business rules.

Using AFE Management System and your company’s intranet, you can route an AFE electronically to a group of approvers and team members, based on your company’s business rules. AFE WebDaily is provided as a complementary application for AFE data entry via the Internet from remote locations.

AFE Management System offers full client-driven business model setup. Client administrators will configure the system to include user logins, user access parameters, user-defined data entry fields, selectable (drop-down) field values, routing-approval setup, and client specific work types with categorized cost detail.

Multiple Views
AFE Management System users can choose to view their AFEs using a list view or a hierarchical view. The hierarchical view includes advanced filtering to ease the grouping and selection of AFEs.

Filtering/Searching
AFEs can be organized based on the user's needs using a combination of searching and filtering. Filters can be built using any data element in the database, including user-defined data elements.

Data Integrity
Data integrity within bengalAFE is achieved using configured lists, allowing the user to select from a drop-down menu during data entry.

Extensible Data Model
Users can create "User Defined" fields to completely model their AFE business processes. The User Defined fields are added to the data model and can be used for searching, filtering, and reporting.

Security
Users can be assigned to specific roles that only allow them to view and modify information on those AFEs and data sections as determined by the administrator. In addition, "Tight Hole" security can be established for selected AFE operations.

Reporting
AFE Management System utilizes Crystal Reports as the reporting engine for the application. Reports can be created by the end user for use within AFE Management System, complete with live links to AFE Management System. Users can also create ad-hoc tabular reports containing any data element within the system.

Electronic Routing
AFEs routed for approval can be sent to selected team members via email notification for approval, rejection, or amending as required. Supporting documentation (logs, memos, wellbore schematics, etc.) can be included with the AFE as attachments.

Web-based Approval
Use a simple web browser interface to view, approve, reject, or amend routed AFEs over an intranet or the internet. Attachments can also be viewed using the web browser, ensuring complete AFE analysis. The AFEs can also be tracked throughout the entire approval process using the web browser.

The design of AFE Management System was modeled after the AFE business process existing in the oil industry, with input from several industry leaders.

WebAFE Daily
If your logistical needs dictate, daily AFE information can be captured using a web browser over the internet from remote locations. Integration AFE Management System can be integrated with existing workflows and procedures to maximize the value of the AFE process.
