The engine for depth conversion
Landmark's TDQ™ software, a set of simple depth conversion tools for interpreters, performs time-to-depth and depth-to-time conversions of seismic data, horizons and faults. TDQ tools leverage the accuracy inherent in your existing well and seismic data to construct 3D velocity models.
Using the model calibration capability in TDQ software, you can combine seismic (less accurate but densely sampled) and well-based (highly accurate but sparsely sampled) velocity models to quickly build a velocity model for depth conversion.
Benefits
Reduced cycle time
With the ability to build a model and depth convert your data in minutes, TDQ tools give you more time to spend analyzing data.
Reduced uncertainty
Reduce the uncertainty of your interpretation by building a velocity model that ties geophysical time data and geologic depth data.
Easy to learn
The TDQ workflow is simple and easy to use. You don't have to be an expert to build a velocity and depth convert your data.
Features
Integration/easy data access
Direct connections to OpenWorks® and SeisWorks® make finding and loading different data types for either model building or depth conversion easy.
Time-depth and depth-time conversions
Most geologic and geophysical data types can be converted from time to depth, or depth to time, to obtain a more accurate picture of the subsurface – including seismic volumes, interpreted horizons and faults.
Build a velocity model
You can build a velocity model using seismic velocities, time-depth tables or analytic functions.
Save velocity model in several standard formats
A TDQ™ model is generally saved as the standard velocity format stored in Landmark Graphics’ OpenWorks®. The velocity model can also be exported as any Landmark format seismic files for viewing in Landmark’s DecisionSpace Desktop® or SeisWorks®, or as an ASCII file for use in third-party programs.
