SeisWorks® 2D Seismic Interpretation Software
Description | Features | System Requirements
Seismic interpretation software for the integrated E&P company
Empower your geoscience teams to make key business decisions without the constraints of traditional data management and integration tasks. SeisWorks® 2D software minimizes risk and uncertainty through extensive automation capabilities, allowing interpreters to test alternative interpretation hypotheses and still complete the job in record time. Users can rapidly interpret very large amounts of data. Productivity enhancers include locked seismic views for quickly comparing multiple data sets concurrently and color coding of base maps based on the vintage of the data.
SeisWorks 2D technology is part of the Landmark interpretation family of products, the oil and gas industry's leading integrated seismic interpretation and analysis software package. SeisWorks software provides a comprehensive set of functional capabilities that scale to surmount any interpretation challenge.
Through tight integration with Landmark's OpenWorks® DecisionSpace Desktop® environments, SeisWorks software offers comprehensive geological, geophysical and petrophysical data integration, and sets the performance measure for the management, access, display, and interpretation of large-survey data sets. Support for integrated multi-survey project interpretation (through a single Project Database or user defined Interpretation Projects in OpenWorks) in time or depth, maximizes the value from each available set of data. All current and historic SeisWorks projects are dynamically available to the DecisionSpace Desktop interpretation platform.
Benefits
Rich history model
SeisWorks 2D tools allows users to develop a rich, searchable history that is invaluable for calculating reserves, identifying and correcting mistakes, auditing and relating data types together. Users can automatically capture the interpretation history or insert comments on the interpreted data set. Search tools help locate the right types of data using key words. This capability supports the 4D workflow and boosts the superiority of data management.
Tight integration with Landmark's family of leading G&G products
Share SeisWorks 2D pick lists with StratWorks®, Z-MAP Plus® and OpenWorks projects.
Improved quality control
A highly improved technique for seismic data set balancing saves time and makes more quality control information visible to users. With the large amount of available data, it’s much easier to make data selections.
Improved stratigraphic interpretation
SeisWorks 2D software’s improved seismic flattening algorithm produces true value horizon interpretation on flattened sections.
Features
Tool Tips for wells
User-controlled popup of descriptive data when cursor displayed over wells in Map View. Same tool tip shows description of icons in all views.
Tool Tips for horizons
Hold your cursor over horizons while in horizon interpret mode in Seismic View. Horizon names clearly displayed to avoid confusion.
User controls screen size buffers
User can set variable to control the amount of screen buffer size. Use two monitors as one virtual screen stretching view across both screens. High-resolution monitor support!
Locked seismic views
Increased workflow by locking views together! Use to compare identical areas while investigating different data sets, even locks zoom together! Lock-step frame control to always view your just-picked interpretation on previous line.
Search and filter dialogs
Consistent search and filter dialog boxes to select wells, log curves, picks, synthetics, time/depth curves, and many more.
Increased limit sizes
Increased file limits to map broader areas or create much more detail in current area of investigation.
More expert keys
Control Z for reselect time or depth range dialog. “k” to invoke horizon tracking parameter and many more.
Recumbent well support
More accurate display of well track, curves, and tops along the well bore of horizontal or recumbent wells.
Synthetic seismograms displayed with curves
No longer need to choose between curves or synthetics. Can now display both options for same well on seismic view.
Fault Data Manager improved
Fault Data Manager can now delete duplicate unassigned faults. Better control to delete or correct a number of segments with one command.
Supports Landmark R5000 Data Model
Application and project have all been upgraded to integrate within Landmark’s next generation E&P data model, OpenWorks R5000, and surface interpretation platform the DecisionSpace Desktop.
