Innovative grid refinement in PowerGrid software allows the asset team to build a simulator-friendly grid while maintaining the integrity of the geological interpretation, adding detail around faults, wells or wherever needed.

The PowerGrid application intelligently detects faults, coarsens away from the faults, and enables re-sampling of properties on the coarsened grid

Multi-density grid property modeling
After the grid has been modified to accommodate both geologist and engineer requirements, various methods of property modeling can be applied including facies modeling, geostatistics modeling, etc.
Vertical Upscaling
PowerGrid software offers various approaches of vertical upscaling to the asset team including layer lumping and Peaceman property scaling allowing for FAST simulation.

PowerGrid software takes advantage of the highly integrated DecisionSpace infrastructure and viewer (DecisionSpace® AssetView™). DecisionSpace products share a visual environment supporting the entire range of E&D data. This common viewing environment allows for a new level of asset team collaboration and problem solving.
