Barrier Assurance Monitoring™ Solution
The Barrier Assurance Monitoring™ solution is a comprehensive system for monitoring current barriers and provides an associated reporting scheme in real time. The system captures inputs from various monitoring mechanisms and validates them against the barrier plan developed in the well design process. The system initiates warnings and/or activities based upon non-compliance. The solution also provides notification upon detection of a barrier’s characteristics that are outside of the acceptable well planning parameters.
A single interface incorporates all the information necessary to determine whether the barriers are validated and in place, and alerts the appropriate stakeholders when there is an issue; ultimately helping operators improve safety and ensure legal compliance.
The Barrier Assurance Monitoring solution will:
- Capture and display status for barriers identified in a single dashboard interface. At any time, the operator can validate overall system health and identify the status of all barriers.
- Accommodate multiple inputs for each well, some real time (dynamic) and some manual recordings (static) from systems including OpenWells® Drilling Morning Report software, DecisionSpace® InSite® software, and others.
- The system can be configured to automatically send alerts and notifications based on pre-set parameters.
