Baroid’s CFS™-485 casing cleaner removes the thin layer of oil-based drilling fluid during displacements from oil-based fluid to brine. It can also be used to water wet filtercake enabling more effective removal treatments. Both water wetting and removal of oil-based fluid residue lead to more productive reservoirs.
Minimize health, safety, and environmental risks
Micro-emulsion technology enables Baroid to use fewer and smaller spacers in displacements, which reduces waste. This is a more environmentally acceptable alternative to solvent based cleaning systems, and the micro-emulsion technology results in better performance compared to standard surfactant systems.
