Single Piece Hole Opener
The Single Piece Hole Opener (SPHO) is an enhanced version of a PDC hole opener. The tool allows concentrically drilling and enlarging a pilot hole. The tool uses some of the newest technologies to reduce the vibration downhole while increasing ROP, longevity of cutting structure and directional response.

| Self-body stabilization above and below |
Enlarging the hole requires stabilizing the pilot hole, but also stiffening the BHA above the tool to avoid buckling. These features are integrated with the tool so that no additional stabilization is needed when a SPHO is added in the BHA. |
| Interchangeable Nozzles |
The SPHO is equipped with interchangeable nozzles exactly as a bit would have. |
