DPU® Downhole Power Unit
The Halliburton DPU® downhole power unit is an electro-mechanical device that is designed to produce a linear force for setting (or pulling) wellbore tools such as monolocks, bridge plugs, or packers. The slickline version of the DPU uses batteries to provide the energy to the motor and timing circuits. An electric line version without the timer, circuits, and batteries is also available.
