CFR-8™ Cement Friction Reducer

A highly effective dispersant for salt cement slurries

Halliburton’s CFR-8© cement slurry dispersant has a thinning effect on consistency and rheology and provides superior performance in salt cement slurries. It is environmentally safe and is available as a dry powder that can be used for bulk blending with cement and admixtures. CFR-8 dispersant can also be rendered as an aqueous liquid with concentrations of 34 - 40% by weight.

CFR-8 dispersant can be used with saturated salt, CaCl₂, and seawater. It was designed for a wide range of cement slurry compositions prepared with API cements. CFR-8 dispersant can be used with Pozmix® cement and with special formulations such as lightweight and heavyweight cement blends.
