HydrateSeal cements form one of these families of fit-for-purpose solutions.
Methane Hydrate deposits can be encountered in Deepwater drilling operations in many areas around the world. When intercepted by a well these deposits are cemented to isolate them from other zones. With HydrateSeal cement you receive a foamed cementing solution designed specifically for placement across Hydrate formations. These slurries will be tuned to exhibit lower than usual heat of hydration & thermal conductivity. Short transition time, rapid compressive strength development and lower than usual density may also be features of these slurries.
