AUD Fail-Safe Pneumatic Actuator
Halliburton’s AUD Pneumatic Actuator offers users a lightweight, modular design that improves field performance, simplifies maintenance and enables greater adaptability in the field.
Designed to close upon loss of control pressure, the AUD Pneumatic Actuator is ideally suited for a number of applications, including:
- Wellhead
- Flowline
- Header
- Pipeline system
- Casing relief blowdown valve.
The actuator’s nylon-reinforced diaphragm features a large piston area that enables the use of a low pressure air or gas control system.
Other benefits of the AUD Fail-Safe Pneumatic Actuator include:
- A quick disconnect feature that allows the actuator to be removed from the valve without the use of special tools or an external pressure source
- A rolling diaphragm design that eliminates moving o-ring seals and leads to longer seal life
- A visual Open-Close Indication – Upper stem extension that indicates gate position at a glance.
