Baroid® 41 Weighting Agent

Weighting agent to increase densities of drilling fluids

With a specific gravity of 4.1, BAROID 41 weighting agent, ground barium sulfate meets the API Specifications 13A, Section 2, for drilling fluid barite.  BAROID 41 weighting agent can be used to increase densities of oil-based and water-based drilling fluids to 21 lb/gal (2516 kg/m3).
