In the process of drilling and completing a well for production, it is often necessary to isolate sections of formation. Halliburton’s retrievable tools offer versatile and economical means to isolate portions of the well to perform remedial repairs.

Halliburton offers the Subsurface Control Valve III (SSC III) which is the only subsurface safety valve that will support up to a million pounds of drillstring, providing operators with a safe, efficient, and cost-effective means to secure rigs and to evacuate personnel when the threat of a hurricane or typhoon arises.
