Inflow Control

Increasingly complex completions, and the need to reduce overall completion costs for improved well economics, confront operators worldwide. In order to simplify sand control completions while increasing reliability, Halliburton has analyzed the challenges posed by water and gas breakthrough. The results are two proven groups of Halliburton technology products: inflow control devices (ICD) designed to improve completion performance and efficiency by balancing inflow throughout the length of a completion and autonomous ICDs which restrict water and gas production to help increase recoverable reserves and extend well production.

EquiFlow® Autonomous Inflow Control Device
Restricting water and gas production at breakthrough, this autonomous inflow control device (AICD) helps increase recoverable reserves, extend well production, and reduce the expense and risk of unwanted fluid production.
EquiFlow® ICD
EquiFlow® inflow control devices (ICD) are designed to improve completion performance and efficiency by balancing inflow throughout the length of a completion.
EquiFlow® ICD – Adjustable
Halliburton’s EquiFlow Adjustable inflow control device (ICD) combines the same inflow balancing benefit as a standard EquiFlow ICD with the additional flexibility to reconfigure the ICD in the shop or on location if required.
EquiFlow® ICD – Inject
Designed to create a radial flow resistance from basepipe to annulus during completions, the EquiFlow Inject system balances fluid flow into the formation of injection wells.
EquiFlow® Remote
Halliburton’s EquiFlow remote is an innovative fluid loss control device (FLCD) that not only manages fluid losses to the formation but eliminates the need for traditional FLCDs (flappers, plugs, balls valves, etc).
