Cuttings Analysis
By analyzing the concentration of specific elements in the reservoir rock, the composition of the reservoir can be determined. This information can be used to improve porosity determination. Results can also be used to enhance interpretations from other types of logs, especially in formations such as carbonate-evaporite sequences and unconventional reservoirs.
