Capacitance Array Tool (CAT™)
The Capacitance Array Tool (CAT™) greatly enhances the ability to gather reliable Water Hold up data in highly deviated and horizontal wells. The tool utilises an array of 12 micro-capacitance sensors which are radialy distributed in the well bore to measure accurately water hold up and produce video-like images of the fluid distribution across the borehole. It can be run in combination with Reservoir Monitoring tools and other conventional production logging sensors.
