Drillable Bridge/Frac Plugs

Halliburton’s drillable frac plugs are designed as check valves to provide wellbore zonal isolation.  These tools are used primarily between zones in multistage stimulation treatments. The frac plug isolates the lower zone during stimulation but allows flow from below once the stimulation is over to aid in well cleanup.  These tools are available in both composite and cast iron types and in standard and high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT) models, ranging in sizes from 3½ in. to 7 5/8 in.

Halliburton’s drillable bridge plugs are designed to provide wellbore zonal isolation.  These tools can be used between zones in multistage stimulation treatments to provide isolation or as barrier for temporary abandonment or BOP change out.  These tools are available in composite materials in both standard and high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT) models ranging in sizes from 3½ in. to 7 5/8 in.  The cast iron model is available in sizes ranging from 4 ½ in. through 7 in.  It must be noted that for other sizes, the EZ Drill® SVB and SV squeeze packer can be converted to bridge plug.
