GeoProbe® Volume Interpretation Software
Description | Features | System Requirements

The industry’s leading 3D multi-volume interpretation and visualization solution
Add GeoProbe® software to your arsenal of geoscience interpretation and visualization software and you’ll find and replace reserves faster. GeoProbe software will accelerate workflows from basin scale exploration through detailed prospect and reservoir analysis.
Tightly integrated with SeisWorks®, PowerView®,Well Seismic Fusion™ and OpenWorks® software, GeoProbe software technology delivers interactive interpretation at the speed of thought. Interpreters can simultaneously analyze multi-attribute/multivolume seismic, well and cultural data, and reservoir models.
GeoProbe technology can scale from the desktop to the largest immersive visualization environments. You get breakthrough speed whether evaluating a targeted data volume on your desktop, or analyzing mega scale volumes with a team in a multiprojector immersive visualization center. GeoProbe software is the only solution that can harness the power of multiple graphics cards, and use the GPU’s on the cards, to offer breakthrough visualization techniques.
Benefits
Interpretation at the Speed of Thought
GeoProbe software’s parallel processing algorithms deliver high performance calculations in multiple areas such as tracking, attribute computations and interactive volume visualization. The dynamic 3D volume visualization environment allows geoscientists to see their data in ways that were simply not possible in the past. The result is faster interpretation cycle time compared to traditional “line-by line” methodologies.
Interpretation Accuracy
Revolutionary volume co-rendering technology improves fault and stratigraphic imaging. Powerful volume visualization techniques enhance visual pattern recognition, making identification of geologic structures and potential hydrocarbon trends much more obvious and intuitive. Interactive autotrackers enable precise structural framework construction. The result is quickly defined, accurate, optimized drilling targets.
Scalable to Any Dataset Size
GeoProbe software technology is designed to support efficient workflows on “real world” data volumes. Seismic volume size is limited only by the amount of available computer memory. GeoProbe software users have interactively viewed and interpreted 3D volumes covering areas as large as 45,000 square kilometers. This capability enables interpreters to build an earth model at the prospect level in context with the regional framework. Interpreters now have complete flexibility to choose the right solution, from large scale server based graphics systems to PC workstations.
Features
NEW Dynamic Integration
GeoProbe software offers unprecedented dynamic integration with other Landmark DecisionSpace® applications, which allows independent best-of-breed tools with a common look and feel to act as one application. Users now have an immersive environment in which they can quickly view and analyze data in the tool of their choice. DecisionSpace tools are easy to learn and use, sharing common icons for common tasks. Dynamic integration with SeisWorks, PowerView,Well Seismic Fusion and OpenWorks software enables interpreters to simply select one or more SeisWorks projects and begin work in GeoProbe applications.
Seamless information access provides for an integrated visual environment for seismic interpretation without the need for duplicating seismic volumes, horizon and fault data. GeoProbe Probe faces are displayed in PowerView section and map views, and users will always know where they are due to the universal cursor tracking. Data loaded into memory can be used by any of the 64-bit DecisionSpace applications. GeoProbe software extends poststack seismic interpretation with one-click access to pre-stack seismic interpretation in the Well Seismic Fusion application.
