Near Bit Reamer (NBR®) Borehole Enlargement Tool

The NBR® borehole enlargement tool can be activated while drilling to enlarge the bore hole up to 20% of the pilot hole diameter. It can be used behind the drill bit, below a down hole motor or further up the BHA in rotary steerable systems. During hole enlargement, it improves circulation and prevents fractured formations. With concentric balancing , the NBR tool substantially reduces BHA vibration, while improving steerability and stability.
