Halliburton's comprehensive line of wireline formation testing services include the SFT-IV and SFTT™ tools that gather the test data necessary to properly evaluate reservoir potential and plan superior well completions.
Once the tool is set, pre-testing begins only when the operator triggers it—thereby ensuring that vital data can be checked before starting. Halliburton's proprietary quartz transducer technology enables better response to pressure changes under harsh borehole conditions, and the temperature compensation crystal promotes better temperature compensation and pressure measurement accuracy. Depending on tool type and configuration, up to three fluid samples can be retrieved on a single run, with samples checked either at the wellsite or transferred to a laboratory for more comprehensive analysis.
